Video Game Music for the Holidays - Volume VII

Good tidings to all ye good folks and fellow gaming enthusiasts!  The holiday hustle and bustle is once again amongst us, and with it comes the slew of jolly jingles.  If you come searching for a brief reprieve from these time-old tunes, I offer a unique compilation of video game music that still fit the vibes and mood of the holidays.  As is yearly tradition among my friends and family 7 years now, I hope these musical collections provide some welcome variety while also elevating an awareness and appreciation for the medium of games.

For this year's volume, I give a big shout-out to The 8-Bit Big Band whose jazzy reinterpretations of such classic tunes fill the air with swagger and upbeat vigor.  And another deserving nod goes out to the music of Alto's Odyssey, proving even small mobile games can carry incredibly rich and stirring soundtracks.  From these stirring sonatas to soulful shreds, the musical selection of this year's album can be summed up as one full of spirit.  May this spirited sampling brighten your holiday season and spread good cheer all around.  And if interested in listening to more Holiday Ambience, you can view a playlist of all seven volumes here.
